The excitement at Rosehill Gardens Racecourse will come to a head on Saturday with the running of the Group 3 Run to the Rose (1300m).
12 horses will run in this year’s race – the traditional preparation race for the Golden Rose – and Gai Waterhouse’s Squamosa is getting a lot of love over at SportsBet.
Squamosa is unbeaten in two starts and will be bolting from barrier 9 on Saturday. He will have to beat another likely contender in Masquerader, however, who is also undefeated in two including the Group 2 Todman Slipper Trial.
